John Early

John Early, a lifelong Cherokee County native, was born and raised in Canton, Georgia. He attended the University of Georgia, where he earned his undergraduate degree in History, and later received his law degree from Georgia State University College of Law. During law school, John was an active member of the Student Trial Lawyers Association and gained practical experience working with local Canton law firms and the Cherokee County Solicitor’s Office.

Before joining Morrison & Hughes, John built a strong foundation in insurance defense, becoming a partner at a large law firm where he represented employers and insurance companies in complex litigation. This experience gives him unique insight into how insurance carriers operate, allowing him to use that knowledge to protect the rights of injured workers.

John brings his extensive insurance defense background, meticulous case preparation, and client-centered communication style to the Morrison & Hughes Workers’ Compensation team. With an insider’s understanding of how insurers evaluate and defend claims, he builds proactive strategies that put our clients in the strongest position possible. His collaborative work with medical and vocational experts ensures every client’s story is clearly documented and powerfully presented, resulting in better outcomes and a smoother experience throughout the legal process.

Outside of work, John enjoys being active in the Canton community and spending time with friends and family.
