From Defending Insurers to Fighting for the Injured
Nick Ponzio is an attorney at Morrison & Hughes, where he represents injured Georgians in personal injury and workers' compensation matters — from car, truck, and motorcycle wrecks to slip-and-falls and serious workplace injuries.
A Georgia native, Nick earned both his undergraduate degree and his law degree at Georgia State University. He got an early, hands-on view of how cases are built by working as a paralegal during law school before he was admitted to the State Bar of Georgia.
Before joining Morrison & Hughes, Nick represented employers and insurance companies at a defense firm. That experience taught him exactly how the other side evaluates claims and where they look to limit what an injured person recovers — knowledge he now puts to work entirely for his clients.
When he's not working a case, Nick enjoys hiking and tennis and spends his free time with his girlfriend and their cats. Clients appreciate his approachable, straightforward style and his willingness to explain every step in plain language.
