When you reach out to Morrison & Hughes, Melissa Plumlee is often the very first person you’ll meet. As Intake Manager, she handles new client intake and walks people through the initial consultation process — listening to your story, gathering the details that matter, and helping you take that important first step toward getting help. She also supports the team as a legal assistant, keeping things moving once a case begins.
Melissa describes herself as driven and compassionate, and both come through in how she treats the people she speaks with. Originally from Florida, she grew up with a family connection to the legal world — her mother works in criminal justice — and that influence helped shape the path she’s on today.
When she’s not at work, Melissa is an animal lover and avid hiker who finds her balance outdoors and in nature.
