At Morrison & Hughes, we have the privilege of working with individuals who inspire us with their strength and resilience. One of those remarkable people is Deanna "DeDe" Ross. DeDe came to us seeking help with a workers' compensation claim, but as her case progressed, she was faced with an unexpected and life-altering diagnosis: ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis), also known as Lou Gehrig's disease.

DeDe’s Journey with ALS

DeDe is not only a beloved client but also a wonderful person, deeply committed to her family and friends. The impact of her diagnosis was profound—not only for her but also for those who hold her dear. ALS is a devastating disease that affects muscle control, gradually taking away one’s ability to move, speak, eat, and even breathe. While there is currently no cure, treatments and support can help alleviate the challenges of this condition.

Our Commitment to DeDe

Moved by DeDe’s story and her unyielding positivity, we at Morrison & Hughes made a decision to waive all fees and expenses in her case. This small gesture is a testament to DeDe's impact on our team and our belief in standing by our clients, especially in their time of need.

Supporting DeDe and Her Family

In our continued commitment, we are sharing DeDe’s story here to offer a way for the community to contribute. We invite you to join us in supporting DeDe and her family by donating to her fund through GiveSendGo. Every contribution will go directly to her family to help with the ongoing care, medical needs, and everyday challenges that ALS brings.
